BugsBee

Your reports stay in your browser

BugsBee has no servers and no accounts. Here is exactly what it handles, and the only time anything leaves your device: when you choose to export.

Stored on your device

Screenshots, notes and recordings live in your browser's local storage.

No account, no servers

BugsBee never sends your data to the developer or any third party on its own.

You choose what leaves

Data only goes out when you export it, to a place you pick.

1Everything stays in your browser

BugsBee works entirely on your device. Screenshots, notes, page details, element details, console and network errors (addresses only), device details, and screen and voice recordings are stored in your browser's local storage.

BugsBee has no servers and no accounts, and it does not send any of this data to the developer or to any third party on its own.

2What BugsBee handles

Website content
Screenshots of the page you capture, element text, and recordings you make.
Web history
The address and title of the page you report on.
User activity
Console and network errors on that page, and the marks and notes you add.

This data is used only to build the report you ask for. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used for any other purpose.

3Exports you choose

Data leaves your browser only when you export it. PDF, Word, PNG and JSON files are saved to your computer.

If you connect your own Notion workspace or GitHub repository in Settings and click Send, the captures you choose are sent directly from your browser to Notion or GitHub using the token you provided. They do not pass through any server run by BugsBee. Those tokens are stored only in your browser.

4Deleting your data

You can delete any capture, or all captures, from the extension at any time. Uninstalling BugsBee removes everything it stored in your browser.
